I2C Comunication between PIC24F128 and PIC16F873

This is a simple circuit to communicate with two microcontrollers of different families, to be precise, PIC24 (16bit) and PIC16f873 (8-bit). Il PIC24 che e il master invia una serie di codici allo slave (PIC16f873). The slave as soon as it receives the codes from muster will send it to his PORTBs and consequently on the LEDs. The PIC24 sends 16 data ranging from 00 to 15 and transmitted to the PIC16.
