The Honeywell STD725 pressure transmitter, part of the SmartLine series, utilizes a high-performance piezoresistive sensor to accurately measure pressure. This sensor integrates multiple measurements, including process pressure, static pressure (for differential pressure models), and temperature for compensation, resulting in superior overall performance. The transmitter converts the measured pressure into a proportional electrical signal (4-20mA) and can also output digital signals via HART protocol.
