Autoclave Gear Reducer (Complete)

This is another essential part of the machine. All power for the cone and thread comes from this piece. Unfortunately, like all gearboxes, also this needs some precautions to have a long life. For example: if the machine remains stopped for a long time, especially under weather conditions with extreme temperatures, rain, etc., it could damage easily.

Like all gearboxes, the gears inside reduce the speed of the electric motor, therefore, the total speed of the machine, but increase the force which is exactly what we need. Inside the gearbox, there is lubricating oil. Normally is not required to replace the oil, but sometimes should be check, at least the level of oil because if for some reason, like a leak from the seal (O-Ring), It could lose the entire oil, with a risk that the gearbox runs without oil inside.
