AE medium pressure valves feature: · Rising stem/block design · Metal-to-metal seating achieves bubble-tight shut-off, longer stem/seat life in abrasive flow, greater durability for repeated on/off cycles and excellent corrosion resistance. · PTFE encapsulated packing provides dependable stem and body sealing. · Non-rotating stem prevents stem/seat galling. · Stem sleeve and packing gland materials have been selected to achieve extended thread cycle life and reduced handle torque. All stem sleeve threads are rolled, assuring smooth operation. Autoclave valves are complimented by a complete line of medium pressure fittings, tubing, check valves and line filters. All medium pressure valves and fittings use Autoclave's Medium Pressure connection. This coned-and-threaded connection features orifice sizes to match the high flow characteristics of Valve Series 2OSC.

They are easy to install, by mounting the gland nut on the tube and then threading the collar completely so the entire collar thread is engaged. Hand tighten the connection and then create the sealed with the specified torque.
