Restraining ring - Bushing Ball

The ball bushings are of fundamental importance for the correct functioning of the machine. They keep the machine linear when the thread or cone is performed. These pieces are subject to breakage, especially when using strong tubing such as Inconel. The main symptom when getting damage the "ball bushing" is when the tubing is unstable in the collet. Practically it starts to rotate in an oval way with the consequence that the cone or thread becomes out of specific (Bad).

A competent person should know these things in advance before performing any thread or cone.
