Standard Tube Connections

Recommendations

  1. Never install some parts of fittings with each other. Even if they look the same, the tolerances change from fitting to fitting. A fitting assembled by two or more companies could be fatal under pressure for those who work close to it or can break in critical systems such as a plane or helicopter.
  2. Do not mix different materials, such as ferrule stainless steel with Inconel tube, etc. All this compromises the safety performance of the fitting, especially when it is subjected to operating pressure limits.
  3. Follow the assembly instructions Parker (mandatory) one of the leading companies in the sector, for more details click here

Tube to Male Pipe (Fractional and Metric tube)

Tube to Female Pipe (Fractional and Metric tube)

These fittings can convert a line from millimetres or inches tube to BSP or NPT pipe.

Tube to Tube Unions (Fractional and Metric tube)

Union Tube Fittings are designed for leak-free connections in process instrumentation and industrial applications. These types of connections are most used during the contraction phase.

Port Connectors (Fractional and Metric tube)

A port connector consists of a machined ferrule connection on one end and a tube adapter connection on the opposite end. It is designed to allow fitting-to-fitting connections.

37° JIC Flare Fittings

The use of stainless steel flare fittings can be found in areas with excessive vibration, high-pressure peaks and high mechanical loads. Flared fittings guarantee a high level of security in the pipe system

The 3-part connector consists of fitting body, nut and support sleeve. It connects and seals the under 37° flared tube. The sealing and holding function for flared pipe is purely metallic.

Design features:

  • The dimensions of the 37° - Flared fittings are based on the ISO 8434-2 and SAE standards. The coupling body can be used depending on the choice of the support sleeve for metric and imperial tubing.

Benefits:

  • Reliable tube retention by 37° cone
  • Only one separation between nozzle and pipe
  • High rip out protection by interlocking construction
  • Space-saving, no pipe ends
  • Metallic sealing point, so medium and temperature not a factor

Tube to O-Ring Seal (fractional tube only)

These types of fitting are used in automotive, aerospace, or commercial vehicle industries. SAE tube fittings are commonly found in rotary equipment and air compressors in a wide variety of industries and applications, but they are also easily found in petrochemical plants.

If your hydraulic and fluid management systems already use SAE components, it is essential to replace parts with SAE-compatible fittings. While fittings made to different specifications may look (and occasionally perform) similar, using mismatched components can lead to a shorter lifespan and often system malfunction or failure. If you’re unsure, contact us, and our technicians will help you.

Components

The boned seal is a rubber ring and a metal ring integrally bonded and vulcanized, and is a sealing ring used to seal the thread and flange connection. The ring includes a metal ring and a rubber gasket. Anti-rust treatment of metal rings, rubber rings generally use oil resistant nitrile rubber or fluorine rubber. The combination pads are available in metric and inch sizes. There are standard JB982-77 regulations for the combination of metal pads and rubber in combination pads. Combination gaskets are used for threaded pipe joints and screw plugs. It is generally used with ferrule pipe joints to block oil ports. It is mainly used for static sealing of end faces of threaded joints of hydraulic valve pipe joints.

WHO WE ARE

Compression fittings are one of the most common and versatile methods of connecting metal or rigid plastic tubing. Particularly useful for their extreme temperature and pressure capabilities and aggressive fluids, compression fittings can be seen in systems varying from refineries gas lines or hydraulic control panels located Oil&Gas industries or even on the hydraulic systems of aircraft.

Compression fitting assemblies vary in design from manufacturer to manufacturer but are all made up of the same three essential elements, which are: a compression nut or screw, one or more ferrules, and a compression fitting body. The operating principle of each component also remains more or less the same between designs. Tubing is inserted into the end of the fitting, and the nut/screw is tightened, forcing the ferrule into the fitting body. As the ferrule moves axially into the fitting body, the body’s angled shape radially compresses the end of the ferrule onto the outer diameter of the tubing. This radial compression creates the leak-tight seal between the fitting, ferrule, and tubing and gives the compression fitting its name.

The success of compression fittings in a given application can depend on several factors. These are fitting and ferrule design, tubing selection, and installation procedure.

For this reason, we only supply materials tested on the plants and certified.
