The difference between
JIS and JIC Fitting

The main difference is the angle Cone JIS have 30° angle and JIC have 37°.

They are not interchangeable

NPT Connection (USA)
(National Pipe Taper)

For tapered threads to create a pressure-tight metal-to-metal seal

Often requiring PTFE tape or pipe dope for best results

LEARN MORE

BSPT Connection (British)
British Standard Pipe Taper

The BSPT connection creates an complete metal to metal seal like NPT

as the male and female threads are tightened together.

Requiring PTFE tape or pipe dope

LEARN MORE

BSPP Connection (British)
British Standard Pipe Parallel

BSPP fittings work on a principle where parallel (straight) threads

provide mechanical connection and clamping force.

The sealing relies on a separate component like a bonded washer or O-ring

LEARN MORE

ORB Connection (O-Ring Boss)
hydraulic fitting

Hydraulic fitting, a design using straight threads and an O-ring for a highly reliable.

The male fitting has an O-ring that compresses into a chamfer on the

female port's and creating the seal.

LEARN MORE

ORFS Connection (O-Ring Face Seal)
high-pressure hydraulic systems

Used for high-pressure hydraulic systems, especially in construction, agriculture,

oil & gas, and industrial machinery.

Providing a reliable metal-to-metal seal with an O-ring as a leak barrier.

All Connection Type

Hydraulic fittings help contain and direct the flow of hydraulic fluid in the conductor, prevent leaks and maintain pressure.
Learn the basics of hydraulic fittings to make the best selection for your system. Fitting designs continue to evolve to meet the latest safety and performance standards; so, it’s important to make sure you are meeting the strict demands of your application.

Recommendations

  • Never mix collars or glands with other companies.
  • Experience does not means modifying the connection system or internal parts of the fittings but knowing all the procedures written in the manual (mandatory).
  • You have to be very careful to identify correctly between fittings or valves medium or high pressure. The high-pressure surface of the cone exposed to the fluid is smaller than the medium pressure.
  • Never apply any type of seal on the thread gland is strictly forbidden
  • When cutting the tubing, do not overheat it too much; it could lose its properties
  • Bend the tubing according to the degrees recommended in the manual
  • The gland must be screwed on the fitting by hand till the end, and then apply the torque by a torque spanner to the require force to tightness full it. If the gland cannot be screwed by hand, this means that the tubing and fitting are not linear with each other and can scratch the internal cone of the fitting or tubing easily if will using the spanner to screw it. The consequence is that under pressure will leak.
  • Always lubricate the conical part of the seal with grease
  • Never leave an Autoclave valve without support
  • Always following manual instructions is the basis of all things.
  • Always use the torque wrench supplied.
  • It doesn't mean if you have the training you know everything, it's not like that. The training can help sure, there is no doubt about this, but above all, is to protect the manager himself from any mistake of the worker
  • Before assembling or repairing any part of a high-pressure fitting/connection, and you are not an expert, do not take any risk, ask for advice from an expert who knows the philosophy perfectly. You can also contact our team for further clarifications

FAILURE, IMPROPER SELECTION OR IMPROPER USE OF THE PRODUCTS AND/OR SYSTEMS DESCRIBED HEREIN OR RELATED ITEMS CAN CAUSE DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE.
